Next newsHappy Birthday MG! Your present is a fresh ReDesign! This is about the third incarnation of design for Miraigamer.net since it's original founding back in 2002 under MiraiGamer.com. MiraiGamer has now been open for 5, no close to 6 years now. Originally it was just my personal website to upload content related to my identity on the ever growing web. Now MG has evolved into so much more than that. Now it is home to a community of interesting video game related projects such as tribute and information sites related to the popular freeware game Doukutsu Monogatari or Cave Story, Xak, Ys, Zelda and of course Gameflaws.com, which unfortunately never really picked up too well. At this point there are still many more plans that I wish to implement at the site and I still have open forum/hosting invitations to groups looking to perhaps start a home for interesting video game related projects provided that the work has worth as a serious venture. Perhaps more important than anything now is the idea that my site is now more like an extension of my creative and artistic practices and offers an art gallery to showcase my career as a digital/new media arttist. Of course, right now I am not in any sort of professioanl career at the moment as I am sttill a student who has a lot to learn abot the art world and the world(s) of video game design of which I am hoping to one day actively participate in. Currently I am a member of the GGDA.org which stands for the Georgia Game Design Association. The group is very new, but hopefully by participating with this group it will one day lead to great things down the road.
