In the
New Media Institutes of Technology class we were placed into
various mock-company groups that each had a particular area
of interest in which to develop cutting-edge technology for.
Our specific category dealt with Nutrition and Obesity. We developed
a company called Nutricom Labs, which had a website at nutricomlabs.com
which showcased our products: The UNIFI (Universal Nutricom
Integrated Fitness Interface) handheld device, its many accessories,
a business model for marketing the UNIFI through an online social
network interface called FITBOOK which measures various parameters
of your exercise and dietary schedule to earn points that could
be redeemed through various onboard advertisers and affiliates.
For this project, I was in charge of
creating the web content, graphics and logos, building the website,
forum, conceptual designs for the Fitbook templates and the
UNIFI device flash presentation. I also developed the Nutricom
Labs company, the domain, the logo, and the names for FITBOOK
and UNIFI. |
