Not really, its read by as many adults if you can imagine that. Just that too many phrases seemed not to suit JKR's style. She's maintained a perfect formal / colloquial balance in the previous books, it seems odd that the final jigsaw contains words phrases like 'search me'.

Thats because at first glance it looks like a simple game until you get past first cave then you notice that this game isn't as simple as it looks, if your friends didn't like cave story after playing the full way through, then something must be wrong with them.

Couple of glitches in LoD for Atravir to note:
1. The guy you meet at the pub says "Kayla" even if you change the name.

2. I dunno when this comes into effect, but I finished the first quest (of the necklace) the guards of the castle sent me to do and when I returned I found the same guy at the bar. The game flags to the earlier event and you have to get past the guards again.

3. Similar to 2, even if you finished the feather quest, if you go in the dark forest thingy (where the necklace was) you find the tree monster back and you get the necklace AGAIN and the cutscene follows.

Otherwise

In Ballos fight lvl1, he will charge you, then go up, then charge you again. If you are above him when he starts to come down, he will come up towards you again! do this 1 or 2 times, and he will eventually head butt the roof, sending bones falling to the ground. Interesting.

That's it. There's a whole book on making medieval weapons out of PVC pipe, and a whole bunch of rules on scoring, leveling, armor, ect. But in essence, it's killing friends with Styrofoam and duct tape swords.

It's not a computer game. It's like LARP, but actually fun.

Cost me just under $100 for it. Yeah it has the fancy decorations on it, but it is stainless steel and if I sharpen it (I think it is the case that sharpening a sword blade is illegal over here) it could cut as easily as any sword or knife. :D

Give Fairy Tail a chance, there happens to be a lot of good manga out there that no-one has ever heard of, the only reason why we can read them is because a team of translators replaced all that nasty japanese with english, so zombie hats (3 word story time quote) off to these guys.

Read Dragon Drive, it is an awesome manga, tell me if you can't find it and I will give you the ones I got from aku-tenshi.
